What a great first day!

I was amazed by the amount of energy and enthusiasm in Room 217 today!   I learned we have a lot of dancers and artists in here among other things.  We did a lot of unpacking, community building, attended Music and Spanish, and even went to an assembly.    As a classroom community we are working on developing some classroom norms and rules and are hoping to complete that tomorrow.  We are also discovering how we can take control of our Mindset, and learn from our experiences to grow and learn.

I have a few things that are on our to do list...

• Parents: Please take a few minutes to fill out the, "Help Me Get to Know Your Child" Survey by clicking here. 
• Parents:  If you have not signed up for "Remind" to get classroom reminders from me, please do so by clicking here.  
• Students: Please complete the Help Me Get to Know You Survey by clicking here. 
• Please review the Chromebook agreement that came home with your child today.  It is their responsibility to charge the Chromebook nightly, and bring it back to school the next day.  I would like these back by Thursday at the latest.
• Students may bring a snack that we'll have in the morning.  The 4th grade team has decided on a snack policy that due to food allergies, snack can only be a fruit, vegetable, or dairy product.  Please contact me with any questions or concerns. 

We have an amazing group of 4th graders in our room and I'm excited to see the awesome things that are going to happen this year!
