Schaab Scholars Soar into 2016!

Happy 2016!   We had an awesome first week back to school full of many different amazing activities!   The Schaab Scholars have jumped right into Geology with Mrs. Christian and they are loving the hands on activities!   Check out the awesome pictures Mrs. Christian captured!

We also had an amazing experience on Thursday where we Skyped with Mrs. Pennycook & Penguins in Antarctica with our book buddies!   We researched Antarctica's climate as well as the land in addition to penguins to come up with questions for the Skype call.   We enjoyed asking our intelligent questions and learning a LOT about penguins in the process!   Check out the video below with some highlights!

Another exciting part of 2016 for the Schaab Scholars is that we started switching for Math!  You can check out homework for all the math classes by looking on our assignment notebook on the calendar page or clicking here.  The Schaab Scholars collaborate on this document to make sure everyone is informed!   On our assignment notebook page, you will also notice our learning targets for each week.   This helps us stay in tune with what the outcome is of our lessons.
